About Diskery

Diskery is administered by a central 'body'. In essence it is administrated by humans manually and not using 'Wiki' technology like the famous 'Wikipedia' web site that allows anyone to edit the content. The reason for this is we wanted a site where information was researched BEFORE it was posted and where security and integrity of the data is assured. By allowing anyone from the public to edit as they choose creates a whole load of administrative, legal and security headaches we did not want to deal with. Do not get us wrong, we have nothing against Wikipedia and others who use 'Wiki' technology, we have just chosen to stick to a simpler model.
